Sunday School for kids! Ages 2yrs—4th grade
Sunday School—9:45am is a wonderful opportunity for your child to learn about God in many different ways! Read on to see all the exciting areas of Sunday School here at Shady Grove UMC
Preschool Sunday School—ages 2yrs—4yrs. We have a class that is perfect for the preschool member of your family. Classes are designed to meet the developmental levels of the children. They are Hands-on activities to learn the bible lessons.
Rotation Sunday School—K-4th grade Our K-4th grade children participate in an innovative program called Rotation Sunday School. Children rotate each Sunday through a variety of workshops such as art, science, cooking, games and theater. These workshops use different learning styles to teach the Bible story effectively. Each class has an adult shepherd who guides them through the stations. Some examples of themes in the year to come are Moses—Into the Promise Land, Daniel and Ester. The children begin with a short closed-circuit TV show in their classrooms. The Rotation Sunday School Program is held in the South Building at 9:45am and is lead by Denise Gallimore, our Rotation Sunday School Coordinator. |
