Mission Statement
Shady Grove Preschool is committed to serve our community and the Lord, by providing a safe, stimulating, Christian learning environment that nurtures and develops the whole child through a partnership with parents.
Philosophy
It is the role of our school to assist the family and the Church in the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, moral and spiritual development of the children enrolled in our program. Our curriculum provides developmentally appropriate activities that nurture and enrich the lives of our children. We strive to provide the children with a greater awareness of God through bible exploration and Christian living. We are dedicated to maintaining the most professional staff, the best facilities and the highest quality in order to provide the finest Christian preschool program possible. In order to serve the children and their families effectively, it is necessary for our staff and parents to clearly understand their responsibilities to each other. The policies in this handbook will serve as a basis of our operation.
Goals
- To provide an environment that is safe and respectful of all children.
- To promote growth for each child spiritually as well as socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically.
- To develop a biblical knowledge and principles for each child.
- To develop positive self-esteem in each child building a foundation for success.
- To provide a curriculum that acknowledges and teaches cultural diversity.
- To provide a curriculum that respects the individual and age differences of each child.
- To provide daily, hands-on learning that is consistent with the development of each child.
- To develop a partnership with parents through effective and consistent communication.
- To develop highly trained staff that will implement developmentally appropriate practices to provide the highest quality of care.
- To honor our Lord, Jesus Christ, through all interactions with children, staff and parents, helping people to live in the fullness that Jesus proclaimed.

Monday through Friday $170.00 per month

A $100.00 Activity Fee covers the cost of field trips, Creature Teacher, etc. This is due at the beginning of the school.
A non-refundable registration fee of $50.00 must accompany each child's
registration form to ensure placement.
- The preschool follows the Davidson County School System Calendar for holidays and school breaks.
- Hours: 8:30am - 12:00pm
Drop-off starts at 8:25.
