Shady Grove United Methodist Men
Mission:
Support the individual and collective spiritual growth of SGUMC members through exploring spiritual issues facing men.
Support the pastoral staff through prayer and service.
United Methodist Men shall be a creative, supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually and seek daily his will.
The purpose of the United Methodist Men is to give every man the opportunity to share in the evangelism, missions, and spiritual life ministries of the church.
Meetings:
The United Methodist Men meet on the second Sunday of each month at 7:00 am in the fellowship hall for breakfast, special presentations, devotions, and prayer.
In addition to encouraging and supporting spiritual growth and faith development, they are currently developing programs and fund raising events to help support the needs and interests of the church.
SGUMC has something for every man, young or old, working or retired, single or married – who wants to form friendships, grow in the Christian faith, and serve others. Our mission is to encourage and equip men to be in Christian ministry at home, in church, at work and in the world.
Attendance:
All men of the church (member or visitor) are welcome to join us at our meetings.
You are welcome to bring a guest or family member along.
The men of the church want the membership to know, we are here to assist in anyway we can help. If you or someone else that you know needs any assistance and you would like the men to help out please contact:
