Worship

Worship is the center of the community life at Shady Grove UMC.

It is an opportunity to gather to give glory to God and celebrate the fellowship of the family of faith.

We have many exciting and worshipful experiences as a church and invite you to be a part of them!

• Contemporary Services, “Praise and Worship” is at 8:30 AM and 9:45 AM each Sunday.

• Traditional Sunday Service of Worship is at 11:00 AM each Sunday.

Infant and toddler nurseries are available for all of our Sunday Worship services.

We encourage children over 3 years of age to worship with their families.

We also have Children's Church during all of our Sunday Worship services.

Sunday School

We invite all persons to grow in faith by participating in one of our

exciting church school opportunities for children and adults.

All classes meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45 AM.

All Children's Sunday School classes are located in the South building.

Ages 3yrs to 4th grade.

The Nursery is also located in the South building

All Preteen and Youth Sunday School classes are located in the West Education building.

Ages 5th grade through 12th grade

A combined lecture and discussion study using the International Adult Bible Study quarterly.

Great fellowship with announcements and prayer concerns.

New Creations - South Bldg # 201

An informal Sunday School class which gathers each Sunday morning, searching for God in their everyday lives.

Seekers - South Bldg #202

Our lessons of study are taken from the UMC Adult Bible Study curriculum.

The lessons are easy to read, understand, and intriguing.

Lena Johnson Fellowship Class - West Bldg # 202

This Sunday School class uses “Adult Bible Studies” quarterly literature for their studies.

Couples and singles will enjoy open class discussion with voluntary participation.
